Delete your RestoBill account

You can delete your RestoBill account at any time, from the app or by writing to us. Deleting is permanent and cannot be undone.

Before you delete: download the reports you need (Reports → choose a report → Download). Indian tax law may require your business to keep its invoices for several years, and we cannot recover your data after it is erased.

Delete from the app

Open RestoBill and sign in with the mobile number of the account.
Open Settings — on a phone from the More tab, on a computer from the menu on the left.
Tap Account, then Delete account.
Read what will be deleted and tap Delete my account.

Delete without the app

If you can't open the app, send us a request from the mobile number or email linked to your account. Include your registered mobile number and outlet name. We confirm that the request comes from you, act on it within 7 days, and reply when it is done.

What is deleted

If you are the outlet owner, deleting your account closes the whole outlet:

your account and sign-in, and every staff login of the outlet;
your business profile — name, logo, address, phone, email, GSTIN and FSSAI number;
your menu, tables, orders, bills, KOTs, payments, expenses, purchases, customers and staff records;
the photos you uploaded;
your public menu page.

If you are a staff member, deleting removes only your own login. The outlet and its records, including bills you created, belong to the outlet owner and are not affected.

When it happens, and what we keep

Other devices that were signed in to the account are signed out, but the copy of the data already on them stays on those devices until you uninstall RestoBill there or clear its app data.
